Consensus Technology began when President, Pamela Gleeson, wanted to work for a company whose customers were as important as its owners, and whose employees were as important as its owners. In other words, the idea was and is, we are all in this life together, let's get on the same side of the table, learn what we have to offer one another and do it with caring and respect. What she discovered at the time was that she couldn't find any companies with the same passion about this aspect of the business. For this reason, she started her own company. Even before deciding the service or products to be offered, she worked on developing how to conduct business to accomplish her mission. She hired three interns from Boston College. They each were Vice Presidents, one of finance, one of sales and marketing, and one of culture. They set out to design the company for which they would all want to work and with which they would all want do business. |
